Small and light for all-day comfort
Approximately 4.8 grams in weight, Linkbuds S is the world‘s smallest and lightest, noise canceling, Hi-Res truly wireless headphones. We've kept the size down by both developing a compact driver and integrating the Bluetooth® Audio SoC (System on Chip) and high quality noise cancelling processor in one single chip. It’s 40% smaller than the WF-1000XM4.

LinkBuds S combines a shape that perfectly matches the human ear with an ergonomic design for a more stable fit. We’ve designed LinkBuds S utilising extensive ear shape data collated since introducing the world’s first in-ear headphones in 1982, as well as evaluation of the sensitivity of various types of ears to ensure an ideal shape that is comfortable for many people.

Transparent ambient sound or high quality noise cancelling
These earbuds give you the best of both worlds - Sony's best transparent ambient sound in truly wireless headphones when you want to interact with your world, high quality noise cancelling when you need to focus. LinkBuds S automatically switches between Ambient Sound Mode and noise cancelling depending on where you are and what you're doing.

Adjusts ambient sound to whatever you do for all-day wearing
Adaptive Sound Control is a smart function that senses where you are and what you’re doing, then adjusts ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience. Over time, it learns your behaviour and recognises locations that you frequently visit, such as your workplace or a favourite café, and tailors sound to suit the situation.

With Precise Voice Pickup Technology that optimally controls microphones on the outside and inside of the earbud, and advanced audio signal processing, conversations are ultra clear, even in noisy environments. Our noise reduction algorithm was developed with AI machine learning using over 500 million voice samples to suppress ambient noise and extract your voice clearly.

LinkBuds S supports High-Resolution Audio Wireless thanks to LDAC, our industry-adopted audio coding technology. LDAC transmits approximately three times more data than conventional Bluetooth® audio allowing you to enjoy High-Resolution Audio content in exceptional quality, as close as possible to that of a dedicated wired connection.

A new 5mm driver unit, featuring a high-compliance diaphragm, helps keep LinkBuds S small.
