Unlike traditional multi-frame HDR, this sensor-level approach captures extended dynamic range in a single exposure, eliminating ghosting and temporal artifacts while reducing power consumption. The result is unmatched clarity and balance, even in fast-moving or demanding lighting conditions.

Why Size Matters
This sensor features a larger surface area, larger native 1.6µm pixels and massive 3.2µm fused pixels in Quad Bayer mode, enabling it to capture significantly more light. What Is Open Gate Video?
Utilizing the full potential of the brand new 1” sensor, Open Gate video captures a taller frame in 4:3 for both 8K30 and 4K120 on MISSION 1 PRO and MISSION 1 PRO ILS. With such a high resolution capture, you can effortlessly crop videos to 16:9 for widescreen or vertical 9:16 for Reels and TikTok in seconds. You can also choose digital lenses, reframe shots, zoom, even boost stabilization, all without losing quality. And photographers can pull up to 44MP photos right from video.
(The Series’ base model, MISSION 1, supports 4K120 Open Gate video capture.)

Total Creative Control With 50MP RAW
Capture the highest level of detail possible with 50MP, 12-bit RAW photos. That’s 68 billion colors, and maximum editing flexibility. Or utilize Quad Bayer mode and shoot 12MP RAW with dual-gain, which combines nearby pixels to create brighter, cleaner photos, making it ideal for low-light environments.
